An inspiring evening of insight, strategy, and connection
The evening of April 22, 2025, brought together members and guests of Rotary Club Bangkok GRAD at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel for a truly memorable session featuring Mr. Lester Khoo, Director of International Affairs at CPF Group.
The event was opened by Club President Mikhail Lebedev, who welcomed attendees with a warm message highlighting the club’s recent achievements and upcoming plans. He then graciously introduced Mr. Khoo, setting the tone for an evening of knowledge and exchange.
Held in a warm and collegial atmosphere, the meeting was attended not only by members of Bangkok GRAD, but also by guests from fellow clubs, including Rotary Club of Bangkok and Rotary Club of Bangkok DACH, reflecting the strong inter-club spirit of the Rotary community.
Mr. Khoo delivered a captivating presentation, openly discussing CPF Group’s global strategy, its investment philosophy, and the company’s growing role on the international stage. His clarity, enthusiasm, and depth of experience brought the topic to life and fully engaged the audience.
One of the evening’s key highlights was Mr. Khoo’s candid sharing of insider insights and tangible data. Notably, he revealed that over 7,000 people are currently employed by CPF in Russia, and emphasized that this is only the beginning. CPF plans to further expand its investment and operational presence in the Russian market, a point that resonated strongly with many attendees and sparked rich discussion.
Mr. Khoo also shed light on CPF’s retail activities, particularly through its presence in 7-Eleven and Makro, outlining future directions and strategic focus. Attendees responded with great interest, and the open Q&A session that followed reflected the high level of engagement and curiosity in the room.

22 апреля 2025 года в отеле Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok состоялась яркая и насыщенная встреча Rotary Club Bangkok GRAD, на которой выступил господин Лестер Ку, директор по международным связям корпорации CPF Group.
Вечер открыл президент клуба Михаил Лебедев, который традиционно рассказал о недавних достижениях клуба, поделился планами на будущее и с удовольствием представил почётного гостя.
На мероприятии царила тёплая, дружелюбная атмосфера. Клуб с радостью принимал гостей из других ротари-клубов, включая Rotary Club of Bangkok и Rotary Club of Bangkok DACH, что подчёркивало дух сотрудничества и взаимоподдержки ротарианского сообщества.
Господин Ку поделился ключевыми аспектами глобальной стратегии CPF Group, инвестиционным подходом компании и её всё более заметной ролью на международной арене. Его выступление отличалось искренностью, чёткой структурой и живым интересом к диалогу с аудиторией.

В завершение встречи господину Лестеру Ку был торжественно вручен сертификат признательности (Certificate of Appreciation) от Rotary Club Bangkok GRAD в знак благодарности за его вклад и интересное выступление.
Также участникам мероприятия было предложено посетить предстоящую выставку THAIFEX, особенно обратить внимание на стенд CPF. В ответ многие гости пригласили представителей CPF посетить и их собственные стенды — вечер стал прекрасным поводом для налаживания новых деловых и дружеских связей.
Эта встреча уже названа многими участниками одной из самых ярких и запоминающихся за весь сезон, по праву заняв почётное место в календаре клуба.
