Karel De Lange, also known as Kallie, brings over 30 years of experience in business development. In 2018, he became a KWV business partner in Indochina, capitalizing on his Thai family connection. He launched Marvel Beverage and Events – KWV Indochina, representing KWV in Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Based in Bangkok, the company imports and distributes wine and liquor nationally through Tops Thailand and Villa Market, as well as to top hotels and restaurants.
Karel is also a prominent figure in the South African expat community (SAFFAS) and has been serving as the Director of Events for SATCC since 2021. From 2022 to 2024, he served as Vice-Chair for the Chamber of Commerce and was recently elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.
