Evgeny Belenky is a Russian journalist, historian, and one of Russia's leading experts on Southeast Asia. For over 30 years, he has worked in Thailand and other countries in the region, covering key political, economic, and social events. He currently heads the regional correspondent bureau for the “Rossiya Segodnya” news agency in Southeast Asia. The author of several publications and studies on the history, politics, and international relations of the region's countries, he combines deep historical expertise with an understanding of the contemporary processes shaping Asia's development.
